The Cambodia trek was in October and it’s still sinking in. Every time I go to write/share I decompress further and relish in the memories a little longer.

Where to start? People ask ‘so how was it?’ No way to sum it up in a few words. It was promised to be life changing. It was.

I cried on the daily when I got home. I’d been training for this for a year and I’ve been committed to @rlpshelterfdn as a top 1% donor in the country for about 5 yrs. But the commitment deepened as I took my journey.

We had an incredible doctor on the journey with us. Rosie. Sweet Rosie. (And that was a real blessing when one of my dear trek mates needed nitro and in fact needed to be transported to hospital to ensure his heart was ok to cross the finish line.) Rosie warmed us up each morning with an epic stretch. And one day she said ‘shout what you’re grateful for’ I shouted ‘all of you.’

So the country was extraordinary and the people warm & kind. The temps were extremely hot – this WAS advertised as a challenge. BUT the highlight hands down, was the people.

100 dedicated Royal Lepager’s trekking to support women & children affected by domestic violence.

The day that stands out for me was our last full day. It was discovered that we had 11.2km post lunch vs 8km. People were struggling with heat. Blisters. Rashes. And the guides were mentioning dividing us into 3 grps. Slow, medium & fast. My dear pal and long time trekker @shawn_zig said no, we’re a team. And if it means getting into camp at 7pm we do it together. 🩶Then came the ritual post lunch.

After lunch, always a story was shared. It was the story of one of the 100 of us & their very personal experience with domestic violence. As you can imagine these were heart breaking and very real.

This last day one of the women in the group who I had traveled with on my journey to Siem Reap stepped up. Her story was her own I realized as she was at the end. An involuntary sob came out of me – this could be your mom, sister, daughter or friend. We piled onto her – the 30 of us for a grp hug.
Her vulnerability & courage was surreal.

Thank you for following my journey and for your support. It’s means the world.
Love,
Shea x

Our Boutique Service

What does Boutique Service look like?

Imagine a scenario where we make one of the most stressful processes, buying and selling your biggest asset, as easy as possible. Exciting, even. We will counsel you on all decisions, plan and strategize the details to ensure that your return is as high as possible. We deal with trades from painting and reno’s to improve the marketability of your home. We design and stage from lights and tiles to art and furniture. Transformation is our specialty. It’s one of the reasons why our listings earn our sellers $128,883 more than the average REALTOR® in Canada!

Custom Marketing & Design

Our custom marketing campaigns are carefully crafted with as much attention to detail as our elevated staging process.

Exclusive Advertising

We cast the widest net possible by driving print and online initiatives to help your boutique listing get maximum exposure. All of our vast local resources and years of expertise are focused squarely on selling your home for the best possible price, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Tailored Staging

Saying “every home is unique” is like saying “it has good bones”. Both statements are true, but neither will help it pass the eye test. Our boutique staging will elevate your property above these tired clichés so that buyers won’t just see another house… they’ll see their new home.

One-Hour Response Time

Buying and selling a home can be stressful, and waiting for an answer to a question can sometimes feel like an eternity. We give our clients the peace of mind and certainty that comes along with a one-hour response time.

Buy / Sell / Negotiate

According to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) we earn our sellers $128,883 more than the average sale, and we do it 77% faster than the board average. We leverage our long-standing local relationships and keen negotiating savvy to help everybody walk away from the table happy.

Improvement/Restoration Plan

If your home has been lived in and needs some love before going to market, that’s ok. Our team of trusted experts will help craft an Improvement/Restoration Plan so that buyers won’t see the home you lived in, they’ll see the home they want to live in.
